admin@tradexgroup.net306.975.7066Tradex Commodity Group was founded by Rob and Barb Lawless in 1997. Rob had started trading commodities in 1993, where he met Barb, and together they built Tradex into a leading distributor of bulk commodities.
Rob led with straight dealing and genuine care for relationships, the values that still run the company. After he passed away in 2019, Barb stepped in as President, carrying forward the standard of service Rob built for every supplier, customer, and carrier.
Barb went on to oversee a full rebuild of the trading, logistics, and accounting systems, and in 2023 their daughter Hannah joined the team, following in her father's footsteps.
In 2025, after nearly three decades in business, Barb brought on a new partnership to steer Tradex into its next chapter, growing on the model Rob pioneered. She remains a familiar and welcome presence at the office.
